Xavier Ruud & the United Nations

"In the past, Xavier Rudd’s onstage one-man-band setup included a half-dozen guitar choices, three didgeridoos and various styles of native drum.  Starting April 30, Rudd will endeavor on the next adventure of an already extensive musical career…as frontman to Xavier Rudd & The United Nations, a band of international musicians with diverse musical influences coming together for the forthcoming album, Nanna." (march 2015)

"It was like all of our ancestors had a cup of tea and worked it out for us," he says of the project that combines nine musicians from all corners of the globe, representing the diverse cultures of Australia, Indigenous Australia, South Africa, Samoa, Germany and Papua New Guinea.
Their album Nanna, due in March, was mixed at Jamaica's legendary Tuff Gong studios by Errol Brown, renowned for his work with Bob Marley.
