Blessed Earthstrong to Leroy Sibbles
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, on January 29, 1949. Sibbles rose to prominence as a singer and bass player when he fronted the legendary group the Heptones. The group also included Barry Llewellyn and Earl Morgan. It originally formed in early 1960s as the Hep Ones. However, over time the nam was changed to the current incarnation. All three members of the vocal trio hailed from Kingston and were born in the mid-to-late 1940s. They began working as a unit during thr heyday of the rock steady style and were categorized as a rock stedy vocal trio.
